How Talus works with retailers

Talus is paid by the person who books a review or uses the Talus app. We take no referral fees from builders, and a bid review never depends on who you hire.

Product suggestions in the app

When the Talus app suggests fixtures, lighting, or hardware for a room, it shows current prices, stock, and images from the product data retailers publish for partners. That keeps what you see close to what the item costs and whether you can get it.

Affiliate links

Some links to those retailers may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay Talus a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and you're free to buy the same item anywhere.

How picks are made

Suggestions come from your brief, your allowance, and what's in stock. The part of Talus that picks products never sees which retailers pay a commission, so it can't favor them.

None of this touches a bid review. A review is paid for by you and covered by our engagement terms.
